Well the live online yacht tracker is telling me that Team Whistler have made it onto the water and are drawing small grey circles on the map while they wait for the start, which is roughly half an hour away.

We'd like to wish all those aboard Team Whistler the best of luck with this years Barmouth to Fort William Three Peaks Race. After winning this year's Tasmanian Three Peaks all eyes will be on the Tasmanian team and they'll be sure to provide tough competition to their UK counterparts even though now sailing in unfamiliar territory. Time to show the Poms the navigation prowess...

If you're emailing customers you should be aware of the Australian SPAM Act.

Email marketing can be a really powerful and cost-effective way of keeping in touch with your customers or members of your organisation. One particular noticable inclusion to the Drupal family is Kevin Rudd, who recently launched his new website and blog using Drupal at www.pm.gov.au. A few other notable sites are the following from the ABC:

Eighty Options has won an international tender to redevelop the public website of the Western Central Pacific Fisheries Commission. This project involves a multi-staged approach to developing the site. The first stage will be a migration of their existing static html site and moving it to Drupal. The second phase will be applying an updated theme to improve the look and feel of the site and the third phase will involve some custom developments to suit the business process of the commission with data feeds from operational systems internal to the commission. The project will be completed by...
